Pros & Cons
Pros & Cons
- As this saddle is very stiff it provides good power transfer.
- The carbon fibre reinforced shell is less likely to sag, which makes the saddle more durable.
- Due to the raised back, short nose and wide cut-out, less flexible cyclists can still ride in a deep and aero sitting position..
- This saddle has a rounded rear section, which gives you a little more room to move from side to side while cycling.
- This saddle has an INOX steel rail rather than a carbon one, which makes it slightly heavier.
- Are you someone who sits completely still during cycling? Then you should consider the Pro Stealth Performance saddle instead, which has a flatter rear section for more suitable support.
- This quite hard saddle is suitable for those who ride their bikes once or twice a week. If you ride less frequently, you will need a harder saddle that offers more support.

Description
Description
With the strong and stiff INOX rails, this saddle has a weight of 204 grams.
Round back for extra support
The back of this saddle has a round shape to give cyclists who move their hips to the sides while cycling the best possible support. It helps to keep you in the right position and increases comfort.
Semi-flat, so suitable for a large group of cyclists
This is a semi-flat saddle, which means that it is flat at the front and slightly sloped towards the back. The shape of this saddle makes it suitable for people with moderate to good flexibility in the spine. This has to do with pelvic tilt: when you sit in an upright position you need support to tilt the pelvis, and when you're down in the drops, for instance, you don't.
Cutout
This saddle has a cutout and provides pressure relief for people who quickly experience discomfort from the saddle. The cutout distributes the pressure across the seat bones rather than the soft tissue area. This helps to reduce the chance of developing pain and/or numbness.

Greaty comfort but lacking build quality
I had an amazing experience with his saddle, huge improvement from last version. Original Pro Stealth was too bulky at front and middle would give some pain on longer rides. This new version has much better comfort for longer rides. However build quality is not as expected for my purchase. Rail was little wobbly and would creak on hard pedalling (e.g. steep climbs). Which is a pity otherwise this would have become my saddle for next few years. I am going to try Pro Turnix instead. Upon checking Weightweenies, I found some other riders having experienced similar problems with rattling rail.

my hips are saying thank you!
I just got out of a Prologo dimension saddle: the inside edge protrudes too much, and it's hard, so it hurts, especially in the mountains. maybe it's too "sporty" for me". I made the same adjustment and one ride was enough to make the difference. it's almost forgettable! the best saddle I've ever had (the fifth). it remains to be seen how it will deform over time...

Easy-to-adopt saddle, comfortable and effective.
The shape of the saddle means that you're well supported at the back and the rounded shape of the sides prevents any discomfort to the thighs. The central recess is well designed and takes a lot of the pressure off. It gets a bit hot at first as you get used to the different points of support, but then it's great. Coming from an antares on which I was already very comfortable, the gain in comfort is significant. For me, it's a generalist saddle that's suitable for everyone, statics and non-statics alike. You just have to be very careful with the settings: the spout should be horizontal and the recoil refined according to how you feel. In use, the short, wide spout is pleasant and effective. Finally, the saddle cover does not slip.

Finally finding the right saddle for this bike
Stevens vapor bike. More comfortable than the performance saddle because the beak is slightly thinner, so there's no rubbing point on the thighs. You're snug as a bug on this bike, which is said to be for cyclists who move a lot and not recommended for cyclists who don't move: wrong! At last I've got a saddle that suits my slightly aggressive riding position. I can ride hands down for 10 km without effort (back with prosthesis and arthrodesis), so it's moderately flexible. You have to test it to see if it suits you, to each his own. Mantel offers a 30-day money-back guarantee.
